Description

The Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, MD, is seeking to procure (80) Floor Assembly, Ramp kits. Each kit consists of: one Outboard RH, p/n D4FDY1H463501-2, and Outboard LH, p/n D4FDY1H463501-1, and one Ramp Center, p/n D4FDY1H463502. Delivery of Floor Assembly, Ramp kit shall begin no later than four months after contract award. A minimum quantity of 8 kits each per month shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination. It is the intent of the Government to negotiate and award a fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0017 for this hardware. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed effort will be awarded on a sole source basis to VX Aerospace Corporation 2080 Highway 70E, Morganton, North Carolina, which is the sole supplier of the Floor Assembly, Ramp kits. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. FSC - 1560 NAICS - 336413
