Justification for sole source Notice of Intent Solicitation No. FSM-11-004 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Contracts Mail Stop TWB 01 B10M Washington, D.C. 20555 Classification Code: -- General purpose information technology Contracting Office Address: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Administration Division of Contracts 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 United States The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a non competitive purchase order award with Goldsim Technology Group for software upgrades and maintenance support to twelve software licenses for Goldsim Pro with Radionuclide Transport Module. The NRC is consolidating maintenance support for two existing licenses and the anticipated purchase of ten additional licenses beginning January, 2011. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is 24 months from date of purchase. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes; nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the NRC's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Wanda M Brown, Contract Specialist, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, TWB 01 B10M, Washington, D.C. 20555 via mail no later than November 15, 2010.
