- The Department of Interior, National Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate Herndon, VA intends to issue a sole source purchase order on behalf of the Department of Navy with Cherry Engineering for:Quantity 32 Sherwood Special Projectile P/N SS, Quantity 32 Sherwood Special Seating Tool P/N SSST, Quantity 46 Rammer Kit 3 rods P/N RK, Quantity 23 MWB Disrupter 1.5 liter, Quantity 23 MWB Disrupter.5 liter, Quantity 23 Hydra Jet Disrupter 32 ounce, Quantity 23 Hydra Jet Disrupter 64 ounce, Quantity 23 Hydra Jet Disrupter 128HJ-G, Quantity 23 Black Box 2 MWB, Quantity 138 Black Box 3 MWB, Quantity 32 Sherwood Special Projectile P/N SS, Quantity 32 Sherwood Special Seating Tool P/N SSST, Quantity 34 Rammer Kit 3 rods P/N RK, Quantity 217 MWB Disrupter 1.5 liter, Quantity 217 MWB Disrupter.5 liter, Quantity 42 Hydra Jet Disrupter 32 ounce, Quantity 42 Hydra Jet Disrupter 64 ounce, Quantity 42 Hydra Jet Disrupter 128HJ-G, Quantity 97 Black Box 2 MWB, Quantity 182 Black Box 3 MWB.Cherry Engineering, Inc is the sole manufacturer and sole source supplier of these bomb disablement/SWAT tools. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received within 10 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
