Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Qiagen, Inc., 27220 Turnberry Lane, Valencia, CA 91355-1018 for continued maintenance of the following Qiagen equipment: EZ1, Model #9237721, S/N 0504F1160; Qiacube full coverage, Model 90012192, S/N 5820; Qiacube Model Qia Cube, S/N 5358; and Qiagen BioRobot M48, S/N A4052. The period of performance will be for a period not to exceed one year, with payments made monthly or quarterly in arrears. All items require a pre-inspection before coverage can begin. Qiagen parts will be used for any needed repair only; no aftermarket parts. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
