- Specification Wood Scaffold Planks 1 Actual dimensions of the planking must be 1 and three fourths inch thick x 9 and one half inch wide x 16-0 long. 2 Planks must be scaffold grade planking only. 3 They must have a water-resistant adhesive to ensure bonding in extended wet use. 4 All planking has to be proof-tested and stamped with an OSHA certification to confirm factory load testing of each piece. 5 An OSHA stamp showing they conform to 29CFR1926.451. 6 Production date must be shown on the side of the board. 7 All planking must be Laminated Veneer Lumber. 8 Supplier is responsible for supplying a product data sheet showing allowable loads depending on moisture content. 9 Design properties for the plank to be supplied are determined in accordance with ANSI A10.8-2001, Appendix C Note All planking must be domestic only.
