- Description
- Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region, located inFolsom, CAhas a requirement for Polymer insulators to be delivered to Elverta, CA. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price typecontract. In accordance with requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(11), a writtenrequest for quotation and any documents related to this acquisition will be issued in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13, and will beavailableon the internet on or about 10 NOV 2010. The offeror is responsible formonitoring this site for the release of the request for quotation andamendments (if any). A formal request for quotation is not available atthistime. This requirement is set a-side 100% for small business with a NorthAmericanIndustry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 327215 and the size standardis500 employees. Contractors must be registered in Central ContractorsRegistration [(CCR) www.bpn.gov/ccr]. If offerors are not registered andactive in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA),therepresentations and certifications in the solicitation must be completedandreturned with the proposal.
