- The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is hosting the 23rd annual High-Tech Conferencefor Small Business on Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2, at the Westin Los AngelesAirport Hotel located at 5400 West Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045.This two-day conference is designed to provide an opportunity fortechnologically-oriented minority, woman, veteran and service-disabled veteran-ownedsmall businesses to discuss subcontract opportunities with major corporations, federalagencies, local government agencies, and JPLs purchasing and technical communities.The conference offers various how-to workshops that include valuable information aboutconducting business with JPL and the federal government, information about certificationprograms offered by the federal government, and discussions of emerging technologies andJPLs future technological needs. The workshops are designed to improve business development and strategy skills for smallbusinesses. Workshops speakers and panelists are selected for their expertise inProcurement and in the formation of high-tech programs. The featured keynote speakers areselected for their contributions to small business.Due to limited space, only prime contractors and government agencies will be allowed toexhibit. There is no fee to exhibit. Interested and qualified exhibitors should contactJasmine Colbert at 818-354-8589.It is estimated there will be 1,000 attendees; including nearly 300 prime contractors,various JPL subcontractors and government representatives participating as exhibitors forthis event.Interested attendees are encouraged to register early for this event.
