- OFFADD: 42 CONS/LGCA 50 LeMay Plaza South Montgomery, AL 36112 SUBJECT: Online Database DUE: 8 November 10 POC: William Stallings, Contract Specialist, Phone: (334) 953-3266; Fax (334) 953-3543 DESC: Fairchild Research Information Center at Maxwell Air Force Base is requesting information for online database subscriptions. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. NO QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought) is to determine if the online database subscription is commercially available. The online database sought has the following specifications: CLIN 0001-AA: Arts and Sciences Collection I which includes core journals in economics, history, political science, sociology, titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics, as well as key fields in the humanities and social sciences. Overall, there are 119 titles in twenty-one disciplines. Arts and Sciences Collection II has 127 titles. This collection adds depth to the disciplines introduced in Arts and Sciences I, such as economics, history, Asian studies, archaeology, classics, African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies. The period of performance will be from 31 December 2010- 25 September 2011. This will include a consecutive 4 year option beginning 26 September 2011. Please note, new license agreements will be required. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due on 2pm, Central Standard Time (CST), on 12 November 10. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
