- 66- INSTURMENTS AND LABORATORY EQUIPMENT NAICS 334519 Subject: UPGRADE OF PULL TEST MACHINE The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Department (S1924), intends to solicit and contract with Roberts Testing Equipment Inc (CAGE 0SSH2) of Savannah, GA, on a sole-source basis for a Pull Test Machine Upgrade to support the refurbishment of a Marine Corps owned Pull Test Machine. This Pull Test Machine was built by Original Equipment Manager (OEM) Roberts Testing Equipment Inc (CAGE 0SSH2). No solicitation will be posted on this website for the requirement. (1) National Stock Number - N/A (2) Specification / Qualification - This upgrade kit will incorporate a new hydraulic control unit with PLC and feedback communication, improved user interface and the installation of proportional pressure control valve, relocation of small cylinder to machine rail, modification of large cylinder fluid flow to allow for cylinder to cyle in a pull and push mode and transducers for overalll system control and accuracy. No substitute parts are authorized. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient data, or the rights to same data, for the manufacture of the Pull Machine or the components of the upgrade kit. (3) Manufacturer “ Roberts Testing Equipment Inc (CAGE 0SSH2) CLIN 0001 “ Custom Upgrade Kit (1 Each). (4) Destination information- MCLB Albany, GA 31704 (5) Award Procedures “ The Government will solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for commercial supplies with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is 22 November 2010.
