- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command-Fort Dix (RC-East) intends to solicit & award an acquisition for Snow & Ice Removal Services at C.E. Kelly Support Facility, Oakdale, Pa. The period of performance is 29 November 2010 through 01 April 2011. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services. Specific tasks include but are not limited to snow plowing and ice removal in accordance with the performance work statement. The proposed action is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) commercial acquisition. It is issued as a 100% set-aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 561730 and a related small business size standard of $7.0M. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 10 November 2010 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
