Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center -- Fort Sam Houston and the Fort Hood Directorate of Logistics (DOL) will be conducting an Industry Day conference, one-on-one appointments, and site visit at Fort Hood, Killeen Texas on 30 Nov 10 & 1 Dec 10 in order to share information on the Governments requirement. The Rotary Wing Maintenance (RWM) Support Services contract will provide all personnel, management, methodology, administration, unit training, labor, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to successfully support subject operations. This industry day is an exchange of information between the U. S. Government and industry and it is one of several iterative steps aimed at expanding the understanding of sources that can deliver a product/service capable of performing the mission of DOL RWM operation. The proposed RMW contracts are being considered for small business set-aside. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NACIS) code for this acquisition is 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation. The Industry Day conference will be held on 30 Nov 10, starting at 0900 with sign-in starting at 0800. There will be a general session in the morning on 30 Nov 10. The Government will be available for one-on-one appointments with vendors on 30 Nov 10, beginning at 1300. The purpose of the one-on-one appointments is to answer questions about the requirement and allow the Government to obtain specific feedback from your company representatives. Each company will be allotted no more than 15 minutes for the one-on-one appointments. The conference and appointment locations on Fort Hood, Texas will be provided to all registered vendors via e-mail. The MICC and DOL will also facilitate a site visit to the RWM facility beginning at approximately 0900 on 1 Dec 10 and a bus will be provided based on the number of individuals planning to attend. 1. Industry Day registration: Please complete the Industry Day section of Attachment 1, the Registration sheet, and email to the point of contacts (POCs) at the bottom of this page NLT noon 16 Nov 2010. 2. One-on-one appointments: a. Attendance at one-on-one appointments will be limited to a total of four (4) representatives per contractor team (prime and subcontractors). The one-on-one appointments will consist of any information on contractor/contractor team capabilities and experience that the participants would like to share, and questions. All questions and answers will be documented by the government and will be posted on FedBizOpps via the Army Single Face to Industry interface. b. Any company that would like to request a one-on-one appointment must convey its interest by completing the one-on-one section of Attachment 1, the Registration sheet, with the names of individuals attending, and a single contractor POC email address and phone number no later than noon, 16 Nov 2010. A government representative will contact each contractor POC as soon as possible, but no later than 22 Nov 2010 with their one-on-one day/time allotment. Appointments will be made on a first come-first serve basis. 3. Advance Questions: If you have any specific questions that you would like the government to answer during the Industry Day regarding the Rotary Wing Maintenance Program, please submit them to the POCs at the bottom of this page no later than 16 November 2010. Note: This is NOT a bidders conference and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any offeror for presentations, marketing efforts or data offered for examination; therefore the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the government. Please do not include or attach brochures in addition to your response. 4. If you have any questions, please email them to Ralph Y.
