- Description
- This sources sought is for the 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron (ELRS) requiring the services of a contractor to provide diesel refueling services at the Manas Transit Center. This procurement will be for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The service provider will provide all necessary labor, management and personnel to perform daily mobile Diesel Fuel Delivery Services to identified locations on Transit Center at Manas (TCM). One driver and one pumping system operator will be required per servicing truck. Contractor will coordinate fuel pick-up on site and deliver government provided fuel to locations throughout the installation. At a minimum, one dedicated truck is required. This contract will be a seasonal requirement with a period of performance starting November 20th and suspending April 20th with the possibility of additional option years. This requirement is set-aside IAW class deviation 2009-O0012, Temporary Authority to Acquire Products and Services Produced in Countries along a Major Route of Supply to Afghanistan (Nov 2009). Proposals received from other than countries listed in this class deviation will not be provided consideration. The solicitation (and any amendments) will be available for downloading on the Fed Biz Ops (FBO) web page at www.fbo.gov. No telephone requests for the subsequent solicitation will be accepted. Documentation demonstrating the ability to potentially perform the required services shall be submitted not later than 12 November 2010 at 4:00 PM Local Time, via e-mail to the following personnel: shamika.bailey@maab.afcent.af.mil.
