- Department of Homeland Security Industry Day Wednesday, November 17, 2010 Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center Washington, D.C. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p. m. (Sign In: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.) The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hosting its 4th Annual Industry Day to provide advanced acquisition planning information to industry. DHS Industry Day will include panels from each component moderated by the respective DHS Head of Contracting Activity (HCA). The panels will provide acquisition planning information for the specific component/contracting activity. This one day event will provide a forum by which the Department can communicate its requirements and increase competition by sharing useful information. Who Should Attend? •Federal contractors (large and small) that are interested in DHS contracting and subcontracting opportunities representing all industries. •Representatives from Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. Registration: If you plan on attending the event you must register at http://www.dhs-registration.net/industry-day.aspx. Please limit to TWO attendees per company. Industry Day will be available via webcast for those not able to attend in person. No registration is required to view the DHS Industry Day webcast.
