Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W91ZRS11Q0003 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. The Army requires a one year maintenance contract for Sharp Copiers located throughout Connecticut. The approximate numbers and models are: (1) ARC 160; (1) ARC 260; (2) AR 205; (9) AR 207; (4) AR 208; (7) AR 235; (32) AR 237; (2) AR 280; (6) AR 287; (30) AR 355N; (1) AR 455; (3) DM 350; (2) DM 450; (1) MX 350; (1) SF 2027; (1) SF 8570. The Army may add or subtract copiers in the one year timeframe. Estimated usage is 6,000,000 copies annually. The Army anticipates awarding a contract based upon actual copy count - no supplies. The contractor shall have a system for copier managers to report copier counts. Interested parties should submit their offers as a cost per copy for black & white, and color. Parties should also identify any models which they cannot support. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. The following are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7; 52.212-1; 52.212-2; 52.212-3; 52.212-4; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.232-33; 52.252-2; DFAR 252.232-7003.
