- The Special Needs Identification and Assignment Coordination (SNIAC) program implements Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force (AF) policy to ensure family members are not relocated to areas under government sponsorship where needs for specialized medical care or special education services cannot be reasonably met. US standards for medical care and federal special education laws are applied when determining appropriate locations for DoD families. These non-personal professional services required calls for one onsite full time equivalent (FTE) registered nurse and one onsite FTE Senior Program Support Specialist who shall provide clinical, administrative and programmatic support to the SNIAC Program at the Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA).
