- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought notice for the VISN 3 Department of Veterans Affairs VA New Jersey Healthcare System-East Orange Campus. The following information is provided to assist the Department of Veterans Affairs in conducting Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors to provide Radio-Pharmaceuticals to the VA New Jersey Healthcare System - 385 Tremont Avenue; East Orange, New Jersey 07018-1023. Items shall be delivered on an AS NEEDED basis only. Orders will be placed no greater than 24 hours in advance and shall be delivered by 7:30am Monday through Friday in a designated delivery location namely the Nuclear Medicine Section of the Imaging Service. The vendor shall plan on at least three routine deliveries and or pickups during normal business hours with additional emergency deliveries as needed by the Nuclear Medicine Section within 2 hours as required. The contractor must be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and be regularly established in the business of providing radiopharmaceuticals. Additionally, the contractor shall meet the Department of Transportation, NHPP, FDA, OSHA, and all other agency rules and regulations (Federal and State); the contractor shall abide by the Title Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 10). The applicable NAICS code is 325412. This notice is for the purpose of identifying potential sources and does not commit the government to make an award and/or issue a solicitation. Interested and qualified firms should submit pertinent information on their capabilities to provide the above mentioned services, including company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions; (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified Hub Zone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business? Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and received not later than Monday, November 8, 2010 10:00AM. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
