- Presolicitation Notice Contracting Office: GSA, Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO 80446 NAICS: 561720, Janitorial Services Subject: Custodial Services, Team 3, Buildings 67, 75, 85, 85A and 810 Proposed Solicitation Number. Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, Colorado Estimated Value: Total 5-year contract value is estimated between $4.5 and $6 million dollars Set-aside Status. 8(a) Business Development Program - COMPETITION IS LIMITED TO ELIGIBLE 8(A) FIRMS REGISTERED AND CERTIFIED BY THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS. THE UPCOMING SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AS AN 8(A) COMPETITIVE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Government is seeking responsible contractors interested in providing Custodial Services at the Denver Federal Center, Buildings 67, 75, 85, 85A and 810, Lakewood, Colorado. The services to be performed are custodial services for 5 separate buildings totaling approximately 1.2 million square feet at the at the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, Colorado. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies and supervision, to perform custodial services. The Contractor is responsible for planning and scheduling work to ensure material and labor availability is adequate to complete work requirements within the response times and quality standards. The custodial services include but is not limited to: sweeping floors; mopping; vacuuming; emptying waste baskets; cleaning/supplying restrooms; stripping and waxing floors; buffing floors; furniture cleaning; elevator cleaning; shampooing carpets; watch stander services; and, cleaning chalk boards and water fountains for buildings. The designated NAICS Code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the size standard is $16.5 million. The GSA anticipates award of a Firm Fixed-Price, Single Award Contract. This award will include a 30-day phase-in period with a base period of 12 months and four 12 month option periods. The solicitation will be will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS on or about November 16, 2010 and will close on or about February 2, 2011. The Government will hold a site visit at the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO, on or about December 8, 2010. This will be reflected in the solicitation. All dates are tentative.
