- Description
- The contract is for the acquisition of mental health services for eligible OEF/OIF Veterans who are enrolled in the Veterans Health Administration and who live closer to the community entity than to a VA medical center or a community-based outpatient clinic. The services are intended to focus on Veterans who served as members of the National Guard or Reserves, as well as those who have separated from active duty. The contracted mental health services include: Peer Outreach and Peer Support Services to Veterans by Veterans. Outpatient Mental Health Services and Readjustment Counseling Services. Mental Health Day Treatment Services. The Contractor shall provide mental health services for eligible Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF)/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) veterans as referred by the VA Medical Centers in the following rural areas: VISN 19 VA Rocky Mountain Network (for veterans residing in Midwestern Colorado (Area 1) including Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, Ouray, San Miguel, and Hinsdale Counties; San Luis Valley (Area 2) including Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande, and Saguache Counties; and Southeastern Colorado (Area 3) including Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero and Prowers Counties. VISN 20 VA Northwest Network (for veterans residing in North Central Oregon (Area 1) including Gilliam, Grant, Jefferson, Morrow, Umatilla, and Wheeler Counties; Northeast Washington/Northern Idaho (Area 2) including Adams, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties in Washington, and Bonner and Boundary Counties in Idaho; and Central Idaho/Eastern Oregon (Area 3) including Adams, Gem, Idaho, Lewis, Valley and Washington Counties in Idaho, and Baker and Wallowa Counties in Oregon.
