- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://ww.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis an ICEPOD6 with 8/GB System Memory and 2TB storage, part number ICEPOD60M6 (quantity one). Analog Input Module (to be installed on the ICEPOD6) part number ICE-A2D=r13. The ICEPOD6 is required to enhance data transfer and support signal processing. Method of award shall be Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Request and Pricing Reports) is applicable. FOB Destination, NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA 22448 will be applicable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 05 November, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 10 November 2010. Quotes may be submitted by EMAIL in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to Karen.Jenkins@navy.mil or faxed to 540-653-0592 referencing the quote # N00178-11-Q-4081 in the subject line.
