- The purchase specification is in draft format. This is a preliminary view only. Question concerning the draft purchase specification will be accepted. The final version of the purchase specification will be attached to the solicitation. This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for service or supplies. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted under the same reference number as stated above. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 15-Nov-2010 with a closing response date of on or about 16-Dec-2010. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation along with any amendments. It is the Government's intent to solicit as a 100% small business set-aside. Hill AFB, UT anticipates one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract award for procurement and FOB destination delivery of a T-38/ F-5 Steer Damper Test Stand. Please see the attached draft purchase specification for further requirement details.
