- General Information: Document Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: N68335-10-R-0283 Posted Date: 19 August 2010 Response Date: 03 September 2010 Classification Code: 58 Communication, Detection, and Coherent Radiation Equipment NAICS Code: 334290 Set Aside: 100% Small Business Set Aside Contracting Office Address: Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), Contracts Department Hwy 547 Attn B120, Room 180, Lakehurst, NJ, 08733-5083 Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to procure Executive Communication Systems (ECS). The ECS shall be used to provide a flexible multi-vector communications system capable of processing NIPRNet and SIPRNet email and data via the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and conduct voice communications via the Defense Switched Network (DSN) and Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN). This capability will provide an ability to stay connected and eliminate the need to work off-line while away from an established NIPRNet or SIPRNet point of presence. The Executive Communication System - (ECS) contract will be a competitive 100% small business set aside. As a result of this solicitation, NAWCADLKE intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price IDIQ contract. NAICS 334290 applies to this procurement. The solicitation and applicable attachments will be posted to the NAVAIR homepage located at http:// www.navair.navy.mil (Select "Business Opportunities" then "Open Solicitations") on or about 27 October 2010. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors.
