- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPACE IN Wichita, Kansas (0KS2016) The United States Government seeks to lease commercial office and related space consisting of approximately 5,650 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet (USF)/ 6,497 rentable square feet (RSF) in Wichita, Kansas. Parking is required for 4 vehicles. The office shall be first class office space and be located in a new or modern office building that projects a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Rental or flex space is not acceptable. Occupancy would be required by August 15, 2012. This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation. The government reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and give consideration to properties other than those offered in response to this advertisement. AMOUNT: Approximately 6,497 RSF yielding a minimum of 5,650 ANSI/BOMA USF LOCATION: Offered space must be within the Central Business Area of Wichita, Kansas REQUIRED: Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space offered must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. The proposed lease should be fully serviced. Space must meet or be adapted to meet agency specific requirements. Space cannot be located nearby law enforcement facilities. TERM: The lease shall be for a term of ten (10) years, five (5) years firm term with the Government having the right to terminate with ninety (90) days written notice after the initial five (5) years firm term.
