Description
This is not a solicitation, but a notice of a Contract Action. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, intends to award a sole-source modification to extend an existing contract for three-months, under contract number W911S8-04-D-0014 for Full Food Services. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii) (B), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, these services are needed by the agency and are available from this responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency or will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements. A determination not to compete this action is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This service was originally competed as a part of the Randolph Sheppard Act program under the supervision of the State Licensing Agency. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than 12:00 PM (PST), Wednesday, 3 November 2010, via e-mail, referencing W911S8-04-D-0014, to Thomas Ebenhoh, Contract Administrator, thomas.ebenhoh@us.army.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice; whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Army Requirement. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by calling the Contract Administrator at (253) 966-3488. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be honored.
