Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR) PART 10 MARKET RESEARCH. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and nothing shall be construed herein or through the RFI process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of the RFI. In addition, contractors responding to this RFI shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information. The information collected through this process is considered to be market research as described by FAR 2.101 and in accordance with FAR 10.002. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any further RFP, if any is issued. This RFI is issued to assess the level of interest and capabilities of all interested parties. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency was established in 1863 as a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks. As a bureau, OCC charters, regulates, and supervises national banks to ensure a safe, sound, and competitive banking system that supports both the citizens and the economy of the United States. The OCC has a requirement for Audio Visual Support Services as described throughout this Request for Information to support OCC's Headquarters facilities in SW Washington, DC. The OCC has identified three task areas: (1) Audio Visual Support, (2) In-House High-Profile Events Set-up and (3) Audio Visual Equipment Maintenance. Task area one includes the following: Delivery, set-up, and retrieval of audio visual equipment in meeting rooms; inspection of AV equipment upon return to ensure it is operational and clean for the next usage; maintain inventory of all AV equipment and AV supplies; planning and organization of the technical requirements for all shows and meetings at OCC headquarters and associated buildings and troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment and related problems to ensure functional operation. Task area two includes the following: If and when ordered, the contractor shall provide for OCC "events" all the required contractor-owned state-of-the-art AV equipment and AV professionals (who are technical experts in all areas of AV equipment, AV operation and AV monitoring) to operate the contractor-furnished equipment. Task area three includes the following: a minimum of four preventative maintenance inspections per year (with each inspection no less than two (2) months apart) on all audio visual equipment. INFORMATION REQUESTED: The OCC is requesting information from public organizations and corporations that provide Audiovisual Support Services in the Washington DC metropolitan area. OCC is specifically targeting 8a vendors and will consider HUB Zone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in the event this RFI provides no capable 8a vendors. Respondents to this RFI shall provide the following information: (1) Contractor background summary including: contractor name, DUNS, point of contact information, email, phone number and business size, (2) contractor capability statement, and (3) a rough order of magnitude with respect to price for the services identified. RFI RESPONSE GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES: Responses to the information requested is limited to ten (10) pages in 12 pt, Times New Roman font, and not exceed 1MB in size. No telephone calls will be accepted. All responses shall be submitted to Andrea Lipiro, via email at andrea.lipiro@occ.treas.gov no later than 1:00 p.m. on November 8, 2010.
