- This pre-solicitation notice is for lodging and incidental services in Portland, OR. The award will be a fixed price contract with a period of performance from 18 21 Nov 10. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, as noted in the solicitation and Performance Work Statement. Specific tasks include lodging (305 rooms), buffets, audio visual equipment, and breakout/conference rooms. This acquisition is unrestricted under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110 and a size standard of $7 Million. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor, i.e. how can the third party commit the hotel services. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The solicitation will be posted on or about 27 October 2010 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice is not the actual due date. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate NAICS.
