Description
Past Performance Questionaire Publications Manual CGC RESOLUTE Circuit Breaker Replacement SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to issue an acquisition for Sole Source contract to Square D Schneider Electric. The requirement is being solicited as Sole Source using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 335313. The solicitation number is HSCG80-11-Q-P45655. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for the Definite Items is anticipated. (a) The Contractor shall replace EDG Circuit Breaker in accordance with attached specification. Work is to commence no later than 04 November and be completed no later than 16 November 2010. (b) Failure to read and comply with the specification in its entirety will not relieve the quoter from the responsibility for properly estimating the difficulty or price of successfully performing the work. Failure to do so will be at the quoter's risk. (c) It is the responsibility of the quoter to monitor the FedBizOpps.gov website for future notices and postings. Each quoter shall furnish the information required by the solicitation. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: The contract is expected to be awarded on or about 01 November 2010. REQUIRED COMPLETION DATE: Contractor shall complete work by 16 November 2010. Refer questions to Mable Lee, Contract Specialist at (757) 628-4820. Quotes must arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) 28 October 2010. EVALUATION FACTORS: (1) DELIVERY: The offeror's ability to meet the required delivery date is significantly more important. (2) PRICE - Offeror's price shall represent the best price in response to the request for quotes. The price shall be evaluated to determine fairness and reasonableness. (3) PAST PERFORMANCE: The offeror's prior performance record in terms of relevancy and complexity of same or similar jobs (i.e. quality, timeliness of performance, and business relations). Provide at least two references on attached form. *****Delivery is significantly more important than Price. To further this policy, the Commandant has created the position of Solicitation Ombudsman who is empowered to investigate issues raised by prospective offerors and resolve them, where possible, without expensive and time-consuming litigation.
