- Pre-Solicitation Notice The VA at Asheville, NC is pre-soliciting qualified service disabled veteran owned small business in construction to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to install duct and VAV boxes in exam rooms and offices in the new contract and pension clinic, Bldg 47, Asheville. All work shall be completed within 30 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS Code is 238210, Small Business size is $14M. The magnitude of construction is $25,000-$100,000. Expect solicitation to be posted on/about 10 November 2010. No hard copies will be provided. Pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled for 17 November 2010 at 10:00am. Bidders are to report to Bldg 15, 3rd Floor, Room 330, Asheville, NC. Only one walkthrough will be offered at the same to all interested parties. Bid Opening will on/about 9 December 2010. Deadlines for receipt of questions is 10 days prior to bid opening. Questions received after that date may not be responded to. Firms must be registered at the Central Contractors Registration (CCR), VETBiz and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) must be completed by each bidder prior to bid opening.
