- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION HQ AETC is soliciting information concerning solutions for the below requirement. This request is for information only. This RFI in no way obligates the government nor guarantees the issuance of any subsequent contract award. This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research purposes only. The government is not liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this RFI. This RFI does not constitute an invitation for a request for proposal (RFP) or a request for a quotation (RFQ), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. Minimal responses to industry questions will be provided; however, outlining assumptions in responses is encouraged. Provide transportation of equipment to and from forward airports and the owning installations. Each piece of equipment would require roughly 4-10 round trips per year for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. 2. Assume responsibility for the equipment while it is positioned at the forward operating locations, and while in transit. This would include securing and maintaining accountability for the equipment. 3. Perform daily service checks on the equipment. This would include ensuring proper fluid levels are maintained, and ensuring that the Aerospace Ground Equipment is in serviceable condition (i.e. no major defects). The contractor would coordinate with the owning Maintenance Group for necessary maintenance. 4. Providing equipment to fuels staff at each airport. Fuels staff uses the equipment to quick turn government aircraft daily. Equipment must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without interruption in service due to maintenance. All responses should be received no later than 1:00 P.M. Central time, 12 Nov 2010.
