- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is a Brand Name Oracle/Sun Server Acquisition. Therefore, no substitution of Brand Name or part numbers is acceptable. In order to participate you must be a Sun authorized reseller certified at the "PLATINUM" Level. With your quote submission, please provide your authorized reseller letter referencing your "PLATINUM" certification level. If you are not certified at the "PLATINUM" Level; please don't submit a quote as it won't be included in the evaluations. The hardware must be in new condition and the packaging seal unbroken and undamaged. The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. Provided as an attachment is the Oracle/Sun Brand Name Justification and the Requirements Pages that include the items, descriptions, part numbers and the quantities. The Ship To is the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard located in Hawaii, 96860-5033. Marked For: "AIM4RMC-Sandbox". Quotes are due by 27 Oct 2010.
