- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Medium Altitude UAS Division intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) to provide the Government with Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group (DMAWG) with the required products and necessary contractor support to successfully implement an organic depot in the most efficient and effective manner for the Predator/Reaper unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) for the United States Air Force (USAF). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 since GA-ASI is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, an technical data required to support the system. The proposed contract action has an expected period of 20 months. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 561990. Please indicate the size of business in millions of dollars relative to the size standard of $7M for determination of small business status.
