- This is a synopsis for commercial items in accordance with FAR 13.106-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; oral quotes will be requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract. Contractor shall provide lodging support for the United States Marshals Service for the period November 14 -18, 2010. This is a competitive quotation for lodging in the VA area for the period November 14-18, 2010. Oral quotations will be solicited, request for quotation (RFQ) number DJMS-11-SOB-Q-0003. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. A firm is considered to be small business if its average annual gross receipts for the past three years do not exceed $7.0M. This is a new requirement. No previous procurement history is available. The contractor shall provide all accommodations, personnel, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services for 45 rooms for 4 days. The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)-type contract. Award shall be made to a single offeror. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services.
