- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with GT Software, Inc., 235 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 1400; Atlanta, GA. 30303, for BMS/TS OS/390 Software Upgrade and Maintenance. This is under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source." This software is proprietary and as such, GT Software, Inc. has an exclusive right and does not authorize resellers or other entities to upgrade or maintain the Product listed above. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price Delivery Order. Written responses to this Notice of Intent shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is NOT available. Therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government, not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government will not pay for any information submitted and responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Valerie.N.King@ssa.gov, no later than October 28, 2010 at 5:00 pm EST. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
