Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-LAUNDERING is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45, Defense Circular Number 20100802, Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-1001. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 812332 and small business size standard $14 Million. DESCRIPTION: CLIN 0001 - Industrial Laundering Services This contract will be put on a 5 year blanket purchase agreement. Only prices for the first year are needed. An annual price list will be accepted each year. Contractor must be able to service Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ whenever a call is placed against the blanket purchase agreement. Therefore, contractors must be located in or within a close proximity to Tucson, AZ to provide timely service. The contractor must be able to provide the following items and laundering services: Work shirt (65/35), solid polo shirt, coverall (65/35), lab coat/smock, scrub top/bottom, work pant (65/35), work jacket (ike or bomber), shop towel (orange cotton), terry towel (small), terry towel (medium), terry towel (large), glass/kitchen towel (blue), glass/kitchen towel (white), shop apron, poly bib apron, Go-Jo power gold, Go-Jo Purell/Micrell, paper towel (center pull), and paper towel (tri fold). Price list shall also include a replacement cost for all items except, Go-Jo power gold, Go-Jo Purell/Micrell, paper towel (center fold), paper towel (tri fold), which shall be cost per case. This list is all inclusive. Failure to be able to meet one of the requirements will cause the bid to be technically unacceptable. Delivery and pick-up will be FOB Destination to the specific unit located on Davis-Monthan AFB, 85707. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on lowest price technically acceptable. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal.
