- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging and meeting space in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the CES-LEHD Workshop. Dates preferred for workshop are March 9-10, 2011, but would consider March 8-9, 2011. Lodging required is as follows: 55 sleeping rooms with 25 call-ins on Tuesday, March 8, 2011; 55 sleeping rooms with 25 call-ins on Wednesday, March 9, 2011; and 15 sleeping rooms on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Accommodations must have full service restaurant and Metro access is desirable. Meeting requirements are as follows for Wednesday and Thursday, March 9-10, 2011: Plenary 150-200 in rounds, screen and projector, internet access for presenter's computer, pre-function space and easels to exhibit up to 25 posters, registration tables, 3 breakout rooms seating 55, ideally rounds, screen and projector in each (could work with 2 breakout rooms if plenary can act as third), and food/banquet services. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate.
