- This amendment to the synopsis is to correct the date for posting the solicitation. The soliciation will be posted on or about October 25, 2010. This synopsis was previously advertized under Solicitation Number AG-04H1-S-10-7344. The solicitation number was in error. AG-04H1-S-11-7002 is the correct number for the Region 6 Clerical Support Unit solicitation. The purpose of this Request for Quotations and any resultant Agreements is to acquire the services of Clerical Support Units for use on local, Regional and Nationwide basis. The Agreements will be competitively awarded within Region 6 (Oregon and Washington) of the USDA Forest Service and may be used for Wildland Fire Suppression, All Hazard Activities ans Severity. The Government anticipates awarding multiple Incident Blanket Purchase Agreements (IBPA). The solicitation will be issued using the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system and to use VIPR, you must have access to a computer and the internet. Basic information you will need to be aware of and to participate in this solicitation is located on the web at http://www.fs.fed.us/business/incident/vendors.php User guide and other information regarding VIPR are posted at http://www.fs.fed.us/business/incidents/vipr.php 1) Quotes shall be submitted in the Virtual Incident Procurement System (VIPR). To access VIPR you are required to have a Level 2 eAuthentication account that provides the ability to conduct official electronic business transaction. Level 2 eAuthentication information is available at the following website: http://www.fs.fed.us/business/incident/eauth.php 2) Formatta Filler Software is required in order to view and fill in the necessary electronic Solicitation forms. Formatta Filler is a free software and is available at: http://www.formatta.com 3) Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and are encouraged to complete the Online Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) as stated in the solicitation. 4) No telephone request for the solicitation will be accepted, and no paper copies will be issued. The Soliciation will only be available electronically and will be posted to the fedbizopps website at https://www.fbo.gov on or about October 25, 2010.
