- On or about November 05, 2010, the National Park Service will be issuing Request for Quotations to produce a replica of the Lyle Gun. This project is being synopsized as a 100% small business set-side in accordance with FAR Part 19. Contractor shall reproduce the Lyle Gun to the exact historic specifications in every respect to an original 1878 Bronze Gun C. This procurement is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. The solicitation(s) will be issued electronically (paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available) on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http//:www.fbo.gov. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, TIFF and Adobe PDF formats. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http//ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notification will be sent. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests being sent via mail must contain a verifiable return address or they will not be opened. DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and transportation associated with the reproduction to the Lyle Gun replica. The NAICS code for this procurement is 332111with a size standard of 500 employees. The estimated time for completion is 120 calendar days from the date after receipt of order. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Award will be made upon price and non price related factors such as experience, past performance and qualifications. To receive consideration, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Contractor must provide Dunn and Bradstreet number with quote. Responses are due November 19, 2010.
