- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton VA 23667 and its Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Virginia Beach, will be soliciting proposal for courier services. Contractor shall provide all labor, and equipment necessary to provide courier services during the period January 1, 2011 thru December 31, 2011. The Contractor shall provide courier service with a company vehicle and uniformed driver to transport mail and miscellaneous items five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday), except holidays, from the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton Virginia 23667 to the Southside Hampton Roads Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, at 244 Clearfield Avenue, Suite 401, Virginia beach, VA 23462-1816. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, with two (2) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 492110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. This is a 100% set-aside for Service disable veteran owned small business. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
