- Description
- The upcoming soliciation will be posted under small business set-aside procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has an existing need to construct a new trail that will be approximately 320' long and 5' wide at Bozeman Fish Technology Center (NWR), Montana. The trail will have 4" gravel base with placement of a 2" asphalt pavement on top of the gravel base. Electrical PVC cinduit will be installed alongside the trail for future electrical use. Wood curb will also be placed down on both sides over the entire length of the trail. Construct the trail in accordance with the approved US Fish and Wildlife Service design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 30 days from the Notice to Proceed. The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 238910, Site Prep Contractors, with a size standard of $14.0M. A payment bond will be required on the resulting contract. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 04 Nov 2010 with an anticipated closing date of 18 Nov 2010.
