- The VA has scheduled a PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE/SITE VISIT for Wednesday December 1, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in St Albans, NY. The VA intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price solicitation for laundry equipment for the VA Medical Center, St Albans, NY. The VA is seeking potential sources for a government acquisition to provide: 1 (Ea) Continuous Wash/Extract System. NO PROPOSALS ARE REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be unrestricted and the applicable NAICS code is 333312. The award(s) will be based on the best value to the Government. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. The location of the conference is: VA Medical Center, 179th Street & Linden Boulevard, Laundry Facility Bldg. - 173, St Albans (Queens), New York 11425. Conference participants will have the opportunity to make inquiries of VA contracting and engineering personnel. The VA feels that a site visit is essential to understanding the project.
