- Solicitation N00421-11-T-0009 is issued as a synopsis/request for quote. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Computer Modules, Inc. for the line items listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 and FAR Part 52.219-6. The contract line item numbers and description are: CLIN 0001 - Quantity 1 each, Part Number DigiDiskHD, HD SDI Digital Video Recorder. Specifications: Portable, Broadcast Quality, Genlockable Single or Dual Link HD SDI with emb Audio in and out, Uncompressed, Digital Disk Recorder for use with all HD Cameras such as the Sony F950, Canon H1, and the ICONIX Mini HD Camera Incorporates full VTR controls and can be used in the field with a suitable power pack. Supports LTC Time Code and Meta Data input. Some supported formats include 2048x 1080 pixel, 24p, XYZ, 4:4:4, 12b, YUV ARRI formats, Bayer Pattern, Weisscam, Standard unit supports 2 hr of Uncompressed HD in some formats. Targeted at Digital Dailies, Military, and other Unusual Applications requiring portability and ruggedness. CLIN 0002 - Quantity 1, Shipping Charges to Patuxent MD if applicable Award is expected 10 November 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 27 October 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
