Description
1.If repeaters are allowed as 30 miles is a long way and takes a lot of power? No 2.Can LASER communications be used? Please provide this office with more information on Laser communication capability. 3.What is the required field of view? 2.0 degrees/ @ Tele End (zoomed in) and 45 degrees @ wide end (zoomed out). 4.From the technical side, there are no Detection/Recognition/Identification ranges called for. Is this intentional? 10 Miles/16k (O) 6 Miles/10k (T) 5.So we can provide a Rough Order of Magnitude price and delivery estimate - what is the anticipated acquisition timeline and number of units required? Would like to support within the next 4-6 months. 6.The prior REF RFI for Long Range Surveillance System was architected for a single monitoring point to receive feeds from four cameras. Is there a threshold/objective requirement for the number of cameras supported? Not a requirement for this effort but would like more information on this capability. 7.Other than 1350-1390MHz what frequency ranges does the system need to support? 1.150-1.400 GHz, 2.280-2.485 GHz and 5.725-5.850 GHz 8.How many batteries does the system need to support (e.g. 1, 4, 6 battery box)? The system just needs the capability to run off BA5590s. The soldiers will carry enough batteries IOT support the use of the system for the mission set they must accomplish.
