Issued 10/20/2010 Closes 11/1/2010 The VA National Acquisition Center intends to solicit for Gowns, Isolation (Reusable). A five year contract (base year and four one year options) is anticipated. Deliveries are shipped to VA facilities nationwide, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and DC, after receipt of delivery orders. The VA is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) (MUST be registered in Vetbiz) that can provide these isolation gowns (Reusable). If you are a SDVOSB distributor the products must be manufactured by a small domestic (or "outlying area") manufacturer. "Outlying areas" means- (1) Commonwealths. (i) Puerto Rico.(ii) The Northern Mariana Islands (2) Territories.(i) American Samoa.(ii) Guam.(iii) U.S. Virgin Islands; and (3) Minor outlying islands.(i) Baker Island.(ii) Howland Island. (iii) Jarvis Island.(iv) Johnston Atoll.(v) Kingman Reef. (vi) Midway Islands.(vii) Navassa Island.(viii) Palmyra Atoll. SPECIFICATIONS Large Estimated Annual Quantities 24,983 Item: Gown, Isolation, Reusable - Large 1Fabric Content: One Ply 100% Polyester Fiber with Carbon Filament to reduce static discharge.
