- Traversing Mechanism Assembly per dwg.11579980, rev. A, For 81mm mortar, assembly consists of a number of manufactured components, completed assembly must be fully functional with all required protective finishes applied and complete documentation including all testing, reports, certifications etc. First article testing is required. The government intends to award a fixed price contract for 330ea assemblies. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for HUBZONE small businesses. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued approximately 5 November 2010 POC: John Palmer, Contracting Officer, 518-266-5618, fax 518-266-4682 NOTE 1:The solicitation will be issued electronically and posted to the Army Single Face to Industry ( ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare an offer are instructed to request same by submission of an e-mail to: john.palmer3@us.army.mil. Any requests should contain the following information: An approved copy of DD FORM 2345 (see NOTE 2), CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone number. A TDP will be provided after the solicitation has been released to the Army Single Face to Industry website). NOTE 2: The solicitation Technical Data Package (TDP) contains information that has been designated as Militarily Critical Technical Data. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document and technical data. All requests for these documents must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.To obtain certification, contact the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) at 800.352.3572 or http://www.dlis.dla.mil/ccal.
