- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue on a sole source basis an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to place a class of orders for the duration of three years with the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166. These orders will consist of supplies and services that include engineering, logistical, and technical support. The services provided are in support of the Harpoon Weapon System (HWS), to include Missiles, Intermediate support facilities, Support equipment, Harpoon Ship Command - Launch Control Set (HSCLCS), Encapsulated Harpoon Command and Launch Systems (EHCLS), existing and proposed new advanced ship and submarine weapons systems, SLAM-ER and other related support efforts. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Requests for written information will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Boeing Company is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data perform these efforts. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Boeing at the following address: The Boeing Company Attention: Thomas A. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award will be registration in the DOD's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
