- FERC has a requirement for the following weather subscriptions for the internet and government websites: WX001 Basic Energy US WX004 Weather Package WX034 Gas Weather Outlook WX078 Previous Day Data Cold Air Watch Period of performance: October 2010 through September 2011. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to MDA EarthSat Weather, 6011 Executive Boulevard, Suite 400, Rockville, MD 20852. This proposed contract action for weather subscriptions to support the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In accordance with FAR 6-301-1, unique supplies or services available from only one source. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds will apply. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein shall submit a written capability statement that clearly support and demonstrates the ability to perform the requirement. The Government can make a determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
