Description
This amendment is issued to post Questions and Answers in response to the combined synopsis/solicitation, VA-731-11-RQ-0001 MSCPAC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1.Will contractor provide web-based access as new development, or updating solutions already started? Contractor shall provide established Internet-based access. Services will be web-based with no additional hardware or software requirements. 2. Does the state of the MSCPAC system already have integrated system intersections where the following services or functions reside? Yes Insurance carrier eligibility Benefits verification Claims Status Inquiry Ability to verify home addresses of Vets who have returned mail Access to Credit Reports to determine financial position 3. If the answer to #2 above is No, then will Contractor Design/build a secure web Portal to access all services/functions listed. 4. Is this a new project or the continuous of one? These are continuous projects that have been supported by individual VISN contracts that are now being consolidated into one contract under the new MSCPAC Umbrella. 5. If not a new project, then will you indentify the incumbent? No, this is a new procurement for the MSCPAC. These services have previously been supported by contracts from individual VISN's. The MSCPAC contract will combine the services of those VISN's (9, 16 and 17) who will now fall under the MSCPAC umbrella. 6. Will the Government require Website maintenance, Content, or web technical support? Yes, 24/7 help desk service 7. Will the Government require Web portal backend integration support? Yes Integrated Databases Application Interfaces Dynamic intermediate bridges/exchanges 8. Is the vendor required to provide support personnel for processing inquires or is this being supported by a separate vendor? No, all work is done by the VA employee
