- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District is seeking trash pumps to assist the Emergency Management disaster response and recovery mission. These pumps will support the Midwest Regional Flood Fight Center operations and will be used throughout the Midwest in a wide variety of emergency situations with compounding circumstances. To satisfy the historical and projected requirements encountered during the Corps of Engineers disaster response operations, the six inch pumps must be capable of pumping 750 gallons per minute against 120 feet of head at 2000 rpm and the eight inch pumps must be capable of pumping 1600 gallons per minute against 120 feet of head at 2000 rpm. The solicitation will be posted on or about October 29, 2010.
