Description
Survey Questionnaire. 911 EMT Services Emergency Ambulance Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. At this time no Solicitations are available nor shall this notice constitute a commitment by the Federal Bureau of Prisons(Government). The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of EMT - Ambulance and Medical Transportation Service responding to the 911 calls of the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC), both located on the same plot of land, located in Danbury Connecticut in the County of Fairfield. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 (Size Standard: $6.5 million). Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The only known provider is City of Danbury through it's response network and "Prices set by Law or Regulation" (Ref: FAR 15). The Government currently contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price Purchase Order annually as the City of Danbury has expressed no interest establishing a contract. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, ambulatory vehicles, materials, equipment, and licenses required to provide both emergent and non-emergent ambulance and medical transportation services in accordance with any and all Federal, State and local regulations. The contractor shall respond to 9-11 emergency transports to medical facility. Trips may occur at anytime and be multiple at the same point in time. A good faith estimate over a three (3) month period is approximately thirty-two(32).This market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement - if such sources exist. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including any subsequent solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is November 1, 2010. Persons are encuraged to provide a statement of interest if they are able to provide said services. All information will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
