Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Solicitation number is F1S0AK0215BG01. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2010-09-27. NAICS is 532411 and the size standard is $7,000,000.00; This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The AFFTC/PKEW, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following: 1. One (1) Level D Aircraft Simulator: The contractor shall provide one (1) Level D certified 747-400 simulator that reproduces the handling qualities, performance, and systems operation of a production 747-400. Standard FAA currency/recurrence events will be conducted in the simulator. Training on the simulator will be via outside instructor and shall be conducted at a consolidated contractor facility. Simulator instruction will not be required by the contractor. The contractor shall provide six (6) four-hour simulator periods or box times in FY11 (Oct 10-Sept 11). Up to four (4) crew members can be scheduled for each box time. 2. There may also be an addition six (6) four-hour simulator periods or box times in FY11 (Oct 10-Sept 11). Up to four (4) crew members can be scheduled for each box time. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
