- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 has a requirement to order multiple anesthesia syringes such as Succinylcholine 200 mg./10 ml. 100 syringes per week, Rocuronium 50 mg./5 ml. 50 syringes per week, Vecuronium 10 mg./10 ml 50 syringes per week, Phenylephrine 800 mcg/10 ml 150 syringes per week, Phenylephrine 20 mg./nss 250 ml bag 75 bags per week, and Ephedrine 5 mg/nss 5 ml 50 syringes per week. This list is the anticipated product need and quantity. VAPHS shall be able to increase quantities without penalty or to request additional products other than what is stated due to practice changes. A mandatory minimum purchase will not be imposed. All vendor staff must participate in a continuous quality assessment and improvement program which meets requirements developed by the Joint Commission, the FDA, ISO 9000, and USP 797. NAICS is 325412. Solicitation will be available on or about October 29, 2010. Solicitation will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov/. The date for receipt for quotations is November 8, 2010 by 4:00 p.m. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the www.fedbizopps.gov/ address.
